Oil, Changing: Conditions: Notes

Only replace the oil in the following instances:

• Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) AT-235 is stored if the on-board diagnostic (OBD) system has recorded that oil temperature is too high.
• If the oil smells burnt and is discolored and no diagnostic trouble code (DTC) has been stored. For example due to hard and intensive use.
• Cars in continuous taxi service and/or used to tow trailers extensively, should have oil changes at 75 000 km service intervals.
