Selector RESUME Check (Response Code 123)

  1. Check voltage to cruise control main switch. See Figure . See CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH TEST (RESPONSE CODE 113)  . If test verifies cruise control main switch is okay, connect (backprobe) voltmeter between cruise control switch connector terminal No. 3 (Blue wire) and ground. Turn ignition on. Press cruise control main switch to RESUME position. If battery voltage is present, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present, replace cruise control switch.
  2. Turn ignition off. Remove cruise control unit from underhood fuse and relay center. See Figure . Connect voltmeter between ground and cruise control unit base terminal 6T. Turn ignition on. Set cruise control main switch to ON position. Press cruise control main switch to RESUME position. If voltmeter indicates battery voltage, RESUME signal to cruise control unit is okay. If voltmeter does not indicate battery voltage, check wiring between cruise control switch connector terminal No. 3 (Blue wire) and cruise control unit base terminal 6T.
