July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Fuel Pump: Installation

  1. Fit fuel pump gasket. If original gasket is not torn or visibly distorted it can be reused.
  2. Install cap nut onto pump. Put pump into place in fuel tank and align arrow with marks on fuel tank. Use Cap Nut Wrench (999-5622) or equivalent wrench to install cap nut. Press down firmly while installing. Tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . See Figure.
  3. Connect connector and reconnect hoses in marked locations. Attach quick-release fuel line fittings and assemble vehicle interior. Fill fuel system and check function.
