Battery Disconnect/Reconnect Precautions: Notes

CAUTION:
Always disconnect the battery negative lead first. DO NOT disconnect positive lead in engine compartment first.
WARNING:
The key must be in position No. 2 when the battery cable is connected. No one must be in vehicle when battery is connected. This is a safety precaution in case an airbag module activates when power is connected.
