Telemute Function For Non-Integrated Mobile Phones

With the telemute function, the audio module (AUM)/ audio control module (AUD), is muted when the cell phone rings.

The design consists of a signal input and a signal output. The input signal is digital (0V/12V) and the output signal is a Controller area network (CAN) communication.

The telemute function is available as accessory for the accessory electronic module (AEM) for cars of later versions.

The difference in chassis numbers between the two versions is shown in the chart.

When post-installing the hands free unit the car must be configured using new software. Configuration is carried out via appropriate diagnostics tool.

There are diagnostics for the telemute function.
