Checking The Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCS)

• Ignition off
• Check the connector on the brake control module (BCM). Check for contact resistance. Check for oxidation
• Reinstall the components, connectors, etc.
• Ignition on
• Wait approximately 60 seconds
• Read off the status of the diagnostic trouble code (DTC).

  Remedy as necessary.

Was the status of the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) permanent? 

• YES 

  OKAY:  Troubleshooting has been completed.

• NO
