• Ignition off
• Reconnect the connectors, components, etc.
• Ignition on
• Read off the status of the stop lamp switch or the value of the pedal position sensor.

  Depress and release the brake pedal. The status must switch between OFF and ON and the value must change.

Does the value change? 

• YES 

  VERIFIED:  Troubleshooting has been completed.

• NO
