The following information describes which functions Accessory Connectivity Unit (ACU) (function also called Sensus Connected Touch ) has and how it is integrated with other components in the infotainment system. This unit is an option that can only be selected with a 7" screen and one of the following infotainment packs: High Performance (Infotainment level 2), High Performance Multimedia (Infotainment level 3) or Premium Sound Multimedia (Infotainment level 4).

The Accessory Connectivity Unit (ACU) communicates with directly connected components, with the Infotainment Control Module (ICM) and with the Steering Wheel Switch Right button module (SWSR) via LIN bus as well as with the Climate Control Module (CCM) via CAN bus.

Accessory Connectivity Unit (ACU) is installed inside the glovebox. Touch panel is installed above the front display screen and is transparent.

Accessory Connectivity Unit (ACU) does not have any external diagnostic communication, there is only an internal interface.

The Accessory Connectivity Unit (ACU) manages the functions for:
