ATEQ TPMS Reset Procedure

NOTE: On Volvo vehicles, the TPMS3 cannot be used to register the TPMS sensors, or reset the TPMS.
CAUTION: When inflating tires with TPMS valves, press the pump's mouthpiece straight onto the valve to help avoid bending or otherwise damaging the valve.
NOTE: This system may not function properly if vehicle is equipped with a temporary spare tire or winter wheel/tire, as this tire does not have a TPMS sensor.
  1. Set the tire pressure of all wheels to pressure specified on the tire and loading information label.
  2. Ensure the vehicle remains stationary for at least 15 minutes, with the engine OFF.
  3. Drive the vehicle for several minutes at a speed of 20 mph or faster.
  4. Make sure warning light goes off. If warning light stays on, there is a malfunction in the TPMS. See appropriate manufacturer service information or owner's manual.
