CEM = Central Electronics Module

ITP = Infotainment Theft Protection

MOST = Media Oriented Systems Transport

SOM = Security On MOST

ITP = SOM

DESCRIPTION

When attempting to reload a component on the MOST ring, the message "the CEM does not respond to the programming command"  may come up in VIDA.

This occurs because the vehicle has been configured with Infotainment Theft Protection (a.k.a. Security On Most). This function is not used in the US/CA market and must be switched off before reloading a MOST component.

This TJ contains software part numbers available to turn ITP/SOM off:
