Line Pressure/Stall Speed, Checking: Check

Air conditioning (AC) must be off.

Chock all four wheels.

Start the engine.

CAUTION:

Apply the parking brake. Press down hard on the brake pedal using your left foot during the test.

NOTE:

Do not test the stall speed for longer than 5 seconds.

Move the gear selector to position D .

Depress the accelerator pedal all the way, max 5 seconds .

Read off the speed (RPM) as well line pressure. See SYSTEM PRESSURE/STALL SPEED

If the speed exceeds the table values, see High stall speed if speed is below the table values, see Low stall speed .
