DESCRIPTION

Customers may experience that the Key Memory does not work as expected, i.e. the driver's seat and side mirrors did not go to the position they expected when opening the driver's door.

This can occur if the car is sometimes left unlocked, for example, if it is normally parked at home in a garage. This is because the system depends on an unlock command to identify which driver is entering the vehicle.

This function also includes other customizable settings, such as which DIM Theme is selected.

Note that the memory buttons 1, 2 and 3 on the Power Seat Module are not in any way connected to this Key Memory Function.

PRODUCT MODIFICATION

CEM software has been released with improvements to this function.

The following changes are in production from structure week 201439 and are available for cars from structure week 201320:

If the car is left unlocked for 30 minutes, the Key Memory is deactivated and a 'default' driver profile is chosen. The Key Memory choice in Sensus is unchecked and it will not be possible to select it.

For cars with Keyless Drive: The driver will be identified through the keyless system when the driver's door is opens, even if an unlock was not performed.

For cars without Keyless Drive: The driver will not be identified for the current drive cycle, no memory changes will be made.

SERVICE

Upgrade the CEM software for vehicles with structure weeks 201320-201439. For earlier vehicles, an Unlock command is necessary at each driver change for this function to work correctly.
