Infotainment Control Module (ICM) [2012-2016]: Design

The Infotainment Control Module (ICM) has an integrated full graphic color screen. The screen displays information about active functions. It also displays information on the function selection and settings of the system.

There are two versions of Infotainment Control Module (ICM) depending on which of the 6 Infotainment packages the vehicle is equipped with.

The standard version with 5-inch screen manages the Infotainment system Base, Performance or High Performance (without optional television and/or rear seat entertainment package).

The more advanced version with 7-inch screen manages the Infotainment system High Performance, High Performance Multimedia or Premium Sound Multimedia (multimedia with optional television and/or rear seat entertainment package).

The Infotainment Control Module (ICM) has inputs and outputs for: 

When replacing the control module reprogramming is required.

The control module can be diagnosed.

INFOTAINMENT REMOTE CONTROL

Remote control Infotainment is used for activating most functions that can be controlled via the keypad on the Climate Control Module (CCM) and via buttons on the steering wheel.

The IR receiver that communicates with the remote control is located on front of the Climate Control Module (CCM).
