BACKGROUND

While attempting to load PDS upgrade software on P3 vehicles, users have reported receiving error message "135 Upgrade not possible. A replaced hardware part has been detected. Please reorder using the Repair Software from the Parts Catalog CVM 69".  The CVM, in this case, is just an example. It can be any node.

An example of the error and what it looks like in VIDA is attached.

Note that this will be first noticed during the PDS process. If the retailer does not perform a PDS Upgrade during the PDS process, then this could be noticed during any software download thereafter.

TEMPORARY SOLUTION

In the VIDA translation "Repair" means "Reload". In this case if you see that message you must perform a Reload for that node. If SRS is listed in the message, then perform an SRS Reload, for example. Once the Reload is finished and shows as Confirmed, proceed with ordering the PDS upgrade software, and perform the download as usual.
