Massage And Backrest Inclination Rear (Certain Versions Only)
The system for massage function rear consists of five parts:
- The Rear Seat Executive Module (RSX), which has the task of communicating with the control panel rear seat functions, as well as controlling the electric motor for backrest tilt rear and activating the massage unit.
- Switch on control panel rear seat functions
- Massage unit
- Massage pump
- Air cushion unit which consists of five air cushions.
The system for backrest inclination rear consists of three parts:
- Rear Seat Executive Module (RSX).
- Switch on control panel rear seat functions
- Electric motor
The Rear Seat Executive Module (RSX) is secured in the backrest console near the fans under the refrigerator, behind the second row of seats. The massage unit and massage pump are located in the seat backrests. The air cushion unit is connected by air hoses to the massage device in the seat. The air pump is connected to the massage device by both air hoses and cables. The electric motor for backrest tilt is located at the outside of the seat.
The Rear Seat Executive Module (RSX) is 30-supplied and communicates with the Climate Control Module (CCM) via LIN bus. The control module activates the massage unit and powers electric motors for backrest tilt rear as well as forwards LIN communication between control panel rear seat functions and the Climate Control Module (CCM).
The massage function can be set to three different levels.
The Rear Seat Executive Module (RSX) cannot be diagnosed by the Climate Control Module (CCM).
