BACK_UP (WIPER) Circuit Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• Preparation
• 1. -

     Windshield wiper control unit/motor 6P connector: disconnected

  2. -

     Body control module connector B (36P): disconnected

• Procedure
• 1. -

     Perform the inspection according to the following table.

	BACK_UP (WIPER) open wire inspection	OFF			There is less than 1 Ohm
	NOTE:  Refer to: Open/Shorted Wire Inspection Description for the method to inspect the shorted circuit below, then start to inspect according to circumstances.
	BACK_UP (WIPER) shorted to ground inspection	OFF			Not shorted

Results 

• If abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.
• If normal, there is a problem with the windshield wiper control unit/motor.
