Windshield Spray Pattern, Checking
The spray pattern must meet the following specifications:
- An evenly distributed, symmetrical spray pattern
- Even, precise spray jets
- Front passenger side spray nozzle unit: the point of impact -1- of the upper spray point is near the upper edge of the wiper area.
- Driver side spray nozzle unit: the point of impact -2- of the upper stream is at the same height of the front passenger side spray nozzle unit.
Procedure :
-- Activate the windshield washer system and assess the spray pattern.
-- If the spray pattern does not meet the specifications, adjust the spray nozzles. Refer to WINDSHIELD SPRAY PATTERN, ADJUSTING .
