1. Valve Body
   • Component location. Refer to Valve Body and Solenoid Valves .
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to VALVE BODY, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
2. Transmission Control Module -J217-
   • The control module sends and receives data from the Data Bus
   • Component location and removing and installing. Refer to TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
3. Engine Control Module
   • The control module sends and receives data from the Data Bus
   • Component location and removing and installing. Refer to ENGINE/MOTOR CONTROL MODULE -J623-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
4. Multifunction Transmission Range Switch -F125-
   • Component location. Refer to Fig 1.
   • Removing and installing. Refer to MULTIFUNCTION TRANSMISSION RANGE SWITCH, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
   • Adjusting. Refer to MULTIFUNCTION TRANSMISSION RANGE SWITCH, ADJUSTING .
5. Wiring Harness for Sensor and Solenoid Valves
   • With the Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor -G93-
   • Component location. Refer to Figure.
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to SENSOR AND SOLENOID VALVE WIRING HARNESS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
6. Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor -G93-
   • Component location. Refer to Figure.
7. Transmission Output Speed Sensor -G195-
   • Component location. Refer to Figure.
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to Transmission Input Speed Sensor -G182- AND Transmission Output Speed Sensor -G195-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
8. Transmission Input Speed Sensor -G182-
   • Component location. Refer to Figure.
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to Transmission Input Speed Sensor -G182- AND Transmission Output Speed Sensor -G195-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
9. Shift Mechanism
   • With the Tiptronic Switch -F189-
   • The Tiptronic Switch -F189- is a component of the shift mechanism
   • Replace the shift mechanism if faulty. Refer to SHIFT MECHANISM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
10. Transmission Range Display -Y6-
    • The Transmission Range Display -Y6- is a component of the instrument cluster
    • If faulty, replace the instrument cluster. Refer to OVERVIEW - INSTRUMENT CLUSTER
11. Diagnostic Connection
