Shift Mechanism, Checking: Notes
CAUTION:
Risk of accident due to the uncontrolled movement of the vehicle
When the motor is running, uncontrolled vehicle movement is possible if a drive position is engaged.
- Move the shifter to the "P" position.
- Engage the parking brake.
- All test points must be performed.
- When the specified values are not reached, check if the shifter is installed correctly. Refer to SHIFT MECHANISM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING and perform the "Guided Fault Finding" function using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
