Content Theft Deterrent/Shock Sensor Control Modes Do Not Operate Properly

  1. Check park lights. If park lights turn on, go to next step. If park lights do not turn on, repair park lights as necessary.
  2. Lock doors using door lock switch or remote keyless entry transmitter. Set content theft deterrent/shock sensor control modules to Mode 2. See PROGRAMMING ARMING & DISARMING MODES (GRAND PRIX)  and PROGRAMMING SHOCK SENSOR CONTROL MODES (GRAND PRIX)  under PROGRAMMING. Test function of Mode 2 by unlocking doors using door lock switch and opening door from inside. If this mode functions properly, system is good. See PROGRAMMING MODE LIST (GRAND PRIX)  under PROGRAMMING for proper mode operation description. If this mode does not function properly, replace body control module.
