DTC B3031: Key Decoder In Learn Mode: Testing

  1. If theft deterrent diagnostic system check has been performed, go to next step. If theft deterrent diagnostic system check has not been performed, see THEFT DETERRENT DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
    2. NOTE: If theft deterrent system programming procedure is performed, all keys not learned will be erased and will not be recognized. Perform adding keys procedure on all keys. See ADDING KEYS  under PROGRAMMING.
  2. Perform theft deterrent system programming. See THEFT DETERRENT SYSTEM PROGRAMMING  under PROGRAMMING. After repair, go to next step.
  3. Using scan tool, clear DTCs. Operate vehicle. If DTC does not reset, system is okay. If DTC resets, go to step  2 .
