Installation Procedure

    Drive Motor Power Inverter Module Gasket (2) - Install

  2. With the aid of an assistant, install the drive motor power distribution control module (1).

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    Drive Motor Power Inverter Module Bolt (1) - Install and tighten in sequence [17x] - Fastener Specifications

    Drive Motor Power Inverter Module Connector Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications

    NOTE:
    • Some components not shown for graphic clarity.
    • The drive motor power distribution control module high voltage connector access cover gasket is not serviceable separately.

    Install the drive motor power distribution control module high voltage connector access cover gasket (3).

  6. Drive Motor Power Distribution Control Module High Voltage Connector Access Cover (2) - Install
  7. Drive Motor Power Distribution Control Module High Voltage Connector Cover Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications

    Drive Motor Control Module Cooling Outlet Hose (3) - Connect

  9. Drive Motor Control Module Cooling Inlet Hose (2) - Connect
  10. Retainer (1) - Engage [2x]

    High Voltage Battery Heater Bracket (2) - Install

  12. High Voltage Battery Heater Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Engine Wiring Harness (3) - Install

  14. Engine Wiring Harness Ground Nut (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications 
  15. Retainer (1) - Install [4x]

    Engine Wiring Harness (5) - Install

  17. Engine Wiring Harness Battery Lead Nut (4) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications 
  18. Retainer (3) - Install [5x]
  19. Engine Wiring Harness (2) - Install
  20. Engine Wiring Harness Ground Nut (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    High Voltage Battery Heater Module (2) - Install

    Auxiliary Drive Motor Control Module Cooling Inlet Hose (6) - Connect

  24. High Voltage Battery Heater Module Coolant Hose (5) - Connect
  25. Retainer (4) - Engage [2x]
  26. Engine Wiring Harness (3) - Install
  27. Retainer (2) - Install
  28. Electrical Connector (1) - Connect

    Hybrid/Electric Vehicle Battery Charging Disconnect Module Relay (2) - Install

  30. Drive Motor Battery Charger Module Relay Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications

    Battery Positive and Negative Cable (3) - Install

    32. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  32. Engine Wiring Harness Conduit Bolt (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    High Voltage Electrical Connector (6) - Connect - High Voltage Connectors

  35. High Voltage Battery Heater Module Protector (5) - Install
  36. High Voltage Battery Heater Module Protector Bolt (4) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
  37. Engine Wiring Harness (3) - Install
  38. Retainer (2) - Install [4x]
  39. Electrical Connector (1) - Connect [2x]

    High Voltage Electrical Connector (2) - Connect [6x] - High Voltage Connectors

  41. Retainer (1) - Install [3x]

    Front Trim Finish Compartment Support (2) - Install

  48. Front Trim Finish Compartment Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
  49. Connect the wiring harness retainers.

    52. NOTE:

    Coolant filling instructions are located in High Voltage Enabling.

  52. Perform all steps in the high voltage enabling procedure before continuing. High Voltage Enabling
