Wheel Speed Signal Module Conditioner Module: Removal

  1. Place transaxle in neutral. Remove shifter bezel surrounding gear shift lever by gently releasing it from the attachment clips. Rotate bezel sideways. Place transaxle in park. Turn ignition off. Move front seats to the farthest forward position.
  2. Remove floor console screws and slide console rearward. Remove front console center trim panel by pulling panel rearward at clip location, then disconnect power outlet harness connector and remove panel. Move driver's seat to the farthest rearward position.
  3. Remove steering column filler panel (knee bolster) retainer screws, then pull panel from retainer clips and remove panel. See Figure . Remove front console left trim panel retainer screws and push pin, then remove panel.
  4. Locate wheel speed conditioner module (orange in color similar to a relay) taped to harness that is behind front console trim panel. See Figure . Remove tape and remove module like you would remove a relay.
