Tire Pressure Monitor System RECALIBRATION: Notes

CAUTION: DO NOT recalibrate TPM system until all problems are fixed and tire pressure in all 4 tires has been adjusted. If recalibration is done when tire pressures are incorrect, TPM system will not work properly and may not set an alert when a tire pressure is low or high.

The TPM system may be recalibrated in one of the following 3 ways:

On all models, the exterior lamp switch may be used. See Using Exterior Lamp Switch .
On models equipped with RDS radio, system can be recalibrated using the radio system. See Using RDS Radio .
On 2001-05 models, an OBD-II compatible scan tool may be used. See Using Scan Tool .
