Original Equipment Theft Deterrent Control Module Set Up

Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector. DLC is located below steering column, on bottom of knee bolster. See Figure . Turn ignition switch to RUN position, with engine off. Using scan tool, select SETUP NEW VTD MODULE in VEHICLE THEFT DETERRENT, SPECIAL FUNCTIONS data list. To complete setup, follow scan tool prompts.
