Module-Engine Control: Installation

1 - ECM
2 - ECM BRACKET
3 - RETAINING NUTS
  1. Install ECM (1) on mounting bracket (2). See Figure. Torque nuts (3) to 10.7 N.m (95 lbs. in.).

    3 - RETAINING BOLTS
    4 - AIR CLEANER HOUSING MOUNTING BRACKET
  2. Install ECM (1) and mounting bracket (2) assembly in vehicle. See Figure.
  3. Connect both ECM electrical connectors.

    2 - PASSENGER SEAT
  4. Install air cleaner housing assembly (Refer to ENGINE/AIR INTAKE SYSTEM/AIR CLEANER HOUSING - INSTALLATION) or (Refer to ENGINE/AIR INTAKE SYSTEM/AIR CLEANER HOUSING - INSTALLATION) .
  5. Connect negative battery (1) cable.
  6. Reprogram ECM. (Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE - PCM/ECM/SKREEM PROGRAMMING ).
