Windshield Wiper Test 2E - Wipers Not Working At All

NOTE: Perform WINDSHIELD WIPER TEST 2A  before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal identification, refer to CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  . For wiring diagrams, refer to WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Perform, after each repair, VERIFICATION TEST VER-1A - VERIFICATION PROCEDURE  .
CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
  1. Disconnect wiper module connector. See Figure in WINDSHIELD WIPER TEST 2C. Ensure jumper wire between wiper ON relay socket terminals "D" and "E" is connected.
  2. Using scan tool in voltmeter mode, check voltage on wiper module terminal No. 1 (Brown/White wire). If voltage is more than 10 volts, go to next step. If voltage is 10 volts or less, repair open in Brown/White wire between HI/LO wiper relay and wiper motor module.
  3. Ensure ignition is off. Ensure all lights and accessories are off. Using scan tool in ohmmeter mode, check resistance on wiper module terminal No. 4 (Black wire). If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace wiper motor. If resistance is 5 ohms or greater, repair open Black wire.
