Trouble Shooting: Notes

Diagnosis of cruise control system can be accomplished by retrieving stored trouble codes or trouble shooting by symptom if no codes are stored. If cruise control system is malfunctioning and NO trouble codes are stored, go to DIAGNOSIS BY SYMPTOM  . If cruise control system automatically cancels without driver canceling system operation or cruise control system cannot be set after automatic cancellation, go to SELF-DIAGNOSTIC CHECK  under TESTING. If no codes are present during SELF-DIAGNOSTIC CHECK and cruise control system cannot be set, go to INPUT CHECK  under TESTING.
