Installation Procedure
Automatic Level Control Air Compressor Tube (1) - Install
- CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .
Automatic Level Control Air Compressor Tube (1) @ Automatic Level Control Air Compressor - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
Automatic Level Control Air Compressor Tube (1) @Air Suspension Controller - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
Electrical Connector (1) - Connect
Rear Wheelhouse Panel Rear Liner (1) - Install - Rear Wheelhouse Panel Rear Liner Replacement
Remove the automatic level control air supply reservoir coupling cap (1).
- Install CH-52667 Air Spring Inflator to the automatic level control air supply reservoir air valve and set the regulator on the nitrogen tank to 15 Bar (217.55 PSI).
- Using CH-52667 Air Spring Inflator, open the valve on the pressure gage to fill the automatic level control air supply reservoir.
- Using CH-52667 Air Spring Inflator and the shop nitrogen tank, fill the automatic level control air supply reservoir to 15 Bar (217.55 PSI).
- Partially lower the vehicle, but DO NOT let the wheels touch the ground.
- Using GDS2 tool, use short-term inflate to increase pressure to the air springs:
- Front: 5.5 Bar (80 PSI)
- Rear: 5.5 Bar (80 PSI)
- Using GDS2, verify automatic level control air supply tank pressure is at 15 Bar (217.55 PSI), if not repeat steps 4 - 9.
- Close the pressure gauge valve and remove CH-52667 Air Spring Inflator from the automatic level control air supply reservoir.
- Install the automatic level control air supply reservoir coupling cap (1) and tighten. Fastener Specifications .
- Install underbody panels as necessary. Underbody Panel Component Locator
- Install the right rear tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
NOTE:
Fill the front air bags first.
NOTE:
The vehicle must be in Maintenance Mode.
