Disabling System
- Turn steering wheel to straight-ahead position. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position and remove key. Remove air bag fuse from junction block located near base of steering column. See Fig 1.
- Remove left side access cover on steering wheel. Locate and disconnect Yellow connector in steering wheel access hole. Pull out glove box. Push on glove box door stoppers on left and right side, and lower glove box. Disconnect Yellow passenger-side air bag module connector located behind glove box. See Fig 1.
