DTC indicator A: Climate Control Unit Internal Error

NOTE:
Check the battery condition (see
BATTERY TEST
) and the charging system (see
CHARGING SYSTEM INDICATOR CIRCUIT TROUBLESHOOTING
).
- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), and then to ON (II).
- Do the Self-Diagnostic Function with the climate control unit (see HOW TO USE THE SELF-DIAGNOSTIC FUNCTION WITHOUT THE HDS ).
- Check for DTCs.
Is DTC A indicated?
YES -The climate control unit is faulty; replace the climate control unit; with navigation system (see WITH NAVIGATION SYSTEM ), without navigation system (see WITH NAVIGATION SYSTEM ).
NO -Intermittent failure, the climate control unit is OK at this time. Check for poor connections at the climate control unit and at G502; with navigation system (see AUDIO WIRE HARNESS (WITH NAVIGATION SYSTEM) (AA) ), without navigation system (see AUDIO WIRE HARNESS (WITHOUT NAVIGATION SYSTEM) (AA) ).
