New Remote Controller Will Not Program

NOTE: If no problem exists after performing the following tests, replace remote controller. When remote controller is replaced, all remote controllers that are to be used with this system must be reprogrammed at the same time. See PROGRAMMING REMOTE CONTROLLER .

Perform the following diagnostic procedures: REMOTE CONTROLLER BATTERY CHECK , KEY SWITCH CHECK , DOOR SWITCH CHECK , DRIVER'S DOOR LOCK/UNLOCK SWITCH CHECK and POWER SUPPLY & GROUND CIRCUIT CHECKS under SYSTEM TESTS.
