Inspection and Verification

- Verify the customer concern.
- Visually inspect for obvious signs of damage and system integrity.Visual Inspection
Mechanical Electrical - Damaged, loose, or missing fixings or components
- Ensure dummy electrical connector is installed to the Pedestrian Protection module
- Blown fuse(s)
- Damaged, loose or corroded connectors
- Wiring harness
- Damaged Pedestrian Protection module
- If an obvious cause for an observed or reported concern is found, correct the cause (if possible) before proceeding to the next step.
- If the cause is not visually evident, check for Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) and refer to DTC Index .
