Test 18B - Repairing Disarm Sense Circuit From Remote Keyless Entry Module

NOTE: For connector terminal identification, refer to CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  . For wiring diagrams, see WIRING DIAGRAM  .
NOTE: Perform TEST 18A  before proceeding with TEST 18B.
  1. Ensure all courtesy, dome and cargo lights are functioning properly. Repair interior lights as necessary. If lights are functioning properly, go to next step.
  2. Turn ignition off. Disconnect Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) module. See Figure in TEST 3A. Using DRB in voltmeter mode, check voltage at RKE module connector terminal No. 7 (Violet/Yellow wire). If voltage is less than 10 volts, repair open in courtesy light control circuit (Dark Blue/Orange wire). Perform TEST VER-1  . If voltage is more than 10 volts, replace RKE module. Perform TEST VER-1  .
