Power Door Lock Test 3A - Left Front Door Fails To Lock

NOTE: Perform POWER DOOR LOCK TEST 1A  before proceeding. For connector terminal ID, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  and WIRING DIAGRAM. See KEYLESS ENTRY & POWER DOOR LOCKS article. Perform TEST VER-1A  after each repair.
CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting any module connector. Ensure all connectors are clean and tight.

Disconnect driver's door module 12-pin connector. Using scan tool in ohmmeter mode, probe driver's door module 12-pin connector terminal No. 6 (Orange/Violet wire). If resistance is less than 20 ohms, repair short to ground in Orange/Violet wire. If resistance is 20 ohms or more, replace driver's door module.
