Test VER-1A - Verification Procedure

  1. Reconnect all previously disconnect connectors. Turn ignition on, engine off. Using scan tool, erase all fault messages. Turn ignition off. Wait 10 seconds. Turn ignition on, engine off. Operate system that is malfunctioning. If system does not operate properly, perform SYMPTOM ID TEST 1A  . If system operates properly, go to next step.
  2. Using scan tool, read body control computer fault messages. If body control computer fault messages exist, perform SYMPTOM ID TEST 1A  . If body control computer fault messages do not exist, go to next step.
  3. If body control computer was not replaced, repair is complete. If body control computer was replaced and vehicle is equipped with an anti-theft system, enable anti-theft system using scan tool.
