Remote Keyless Entry Transmitter

  1. Depress either transmitter button and verify LED on transmitter case lights. If LED is not on, replace transmitter batteries. See REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY TRANSMITTER BATTERY  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If LED is on, go to next step.
  2. Using DRB scan tool, perform transmitter program procedure using suspect transmitter and known-good transmitter. If known-good transmitter operates power locks and suspect unit does not, replace faulty transmitter. If both transmitters fail to operate power locks, see REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY RECEIVER  .
  3. After test is complete, using DRB scan tool, perform transmitter program procedure. This will erase access code of test transmitter from keyless entry receiver.
