Passenger's Door Module (PDM) Message Not Received At Body Control Module (BCM)

  1. Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, select BODY then DOOR MODULES. If scan tool is able to ID or communicate with door modules, go to next step. If scan tool cannot ID or communicate with door modules, go to BUS +/- SIGNALS OPEN FROM PASSENGER'S DOOR MODULE (PDM) . Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS.
  2. Using scan tool, erase all DTCs. Turn ignition on and wait approximately one minute. Check for DTCs. If DTC resets, replace BCM. See BODY CONTROL MODULE  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS. If DTC does not reset, testing is complete.
