Voltmeter Inoperative

NOTE: Ensure communication can be established with Mechanical Instrument Cluster (MIC) and Powertrain Control Module (PCM).

Turn ignition off. Press and hold TRIP/RESET button on instrument panel. Turn ignition on. MIC self-test will start. All gauges including voltmeter should sweep from zero to full scale, and back to zero. If voltmeter passes self-test, test is complete. If voltmeter fails self-test, replace fuel/voltage gauge pack. See appropriate INSTRUMENT PANELS article. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS.
