Fuel System Pressure Release

WARNING: ALWAYS relieve fuel pressure before disconnecting any fuel injection-related component. DO NOT allow fuel to contact engine or electrical components.

NOTE: Fuel pressure may be released at fuel rail fitting or fuel filter fittings.

Position a shop towel around appropriate fitting to protect against fuel spray. Carefully loosen fitting. When fuel pressure has been released, tighten fitting to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
