Dashboard Disassembly/Assembly

WARNING:

Handling the passenger-side air bag module improperly can accidentally operate (deploy) the air bag module, which may seriously injure you. Read the SRS air bag system service warnings and cautions before handling the air bag module. (Refer to AIR BAG SYSTEM SERVICE WARNINGS [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] .) Remove the knee bolster. (Passenger's side) (Refer to KNEE BOLSTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the passenger-side air bag module. (Refer to PASSENGER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] .) (Refer to PASSENGER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [STANDARD DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] .)

Disassemble in the order indicated in the table.

When replacing the dashboard, remove the following parts:
1. Center ventilator grille No. 1 (Refer to VENTILATOR GRILLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
2. Side ventilator grille c. Center ventilator grille No. 2
3. Switch panel (Refer to SWITCH PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
4. Decoration panel (Refer to DECORATION PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
5. Tweeter (with center display) (Refer to TWEETER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
6. Tweeter hole cover (without center display) (Refer to TWEETER HOLE COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
7. Glove compartment striker
8. Ambient temperature sensor (With full-auto air conditioner) (Refer to AMBIENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [FULL-AUTO AIR CONDITIONER] .)
Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly.
