Washer Tank Removal/Installation: Notes

NOTE:
- If the procedure is performed with washer fluid in the washer tank, the washer fluid may leak out. When performing the procedure, place a container under the washer tank to collect washer fluid, and perform the procedure.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Remove the front bumper. (See FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL .) (See FRONT BUMPER INSTALLATION .)
- While pressing the washer tank bracket tabs in the directions of arrows (1) shown in the figure, pull the washer tank bracket in the direction of arrow (2) and remove it from the body.
- Remove the cap.
- Move the washer funnel in the direction of arrow (2) shown in the figure while pressing it in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure, and remove the washer funnel from the washer tank bracket.
- Disconnect the connectors.
- Press out the clip A in the direction of arrow (2) shown in the figure while pressing the clip A tabs in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure, and remove the clip A from the washer tank.
- Press out the clip B in the direction of arrow (2) shown in the figure while pressing the clip B tabs in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure, and remove the clip B from the washer tank.
- Press out the clip C in the direction of arrow (2) shown in the figure while pressing the clip C tabs in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure, and remove the clip C from the washer tank.
- Disconnect the washer hose from the washer motor.
- Remove the washer hose from the washer tank hook. (See Washer Hose Installation Note .)
- Pull out the washer hose from area A of the washer tank.
- Remove the bolts.
- Move the washer tank in the direction of arrow shown in the figure and pull out the washer tank hook from the vehicle.
- Pull out the washer tank pin and remove the washer tank from the vehicle.
- Remove the washer motor. (See WASHER MOTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the washer fluid-level sensor. (with washer fluid-level sensor) (See WASHER FLUID-LEVEL SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
