Diagnostic Procedure

STEP	INSPECTION	RESULTS	ACTION
1	VERIFY SAS CONTROL MODULE DTC Using the M-MDS, perform the SAS control module DTC inspection. (See DTC TABLE [SAS CONTROL MODULE (TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM - US/CANADA SPEC.)] .) Are any DTCs present?	Yes	Go to applicable DTC inspection. (See DTC TABLE [SAS CONTROL MODULE (TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM - US/CANADA SPEC.)] .) DTC troubleshooting completed, then go to the next step.
1		No	Go to the next step.
2	VERIFY DTC TROUBLESHOOTING COMPLETED Using the M-MDS, clear the DTC from the DSC HU/Control Module. (See CLEARING DTC [DSC HU/Control Module] .) Using the M-MDS, perform the DSC HU/Control Module DTC inspection. (See DTC INSPECTION [DSC HU/Control Module] .) Is the same Pending DTC present?	Yes	Repeat the inspection from Step1 If the malfunction recurs, replace the SAS control module, then go to the next step. (See SAS CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM - US/CANADA SPEC.] .)
2		No	Go to the next step.
3	VERIFY NO DTC IS PRESENT Are any DTCs present?	Yes	Go to applicable DTC inspection. (See DTC TABLE [DSC HU/Control Module] .)
3	VERIFY NO DTC IS PRESENT Are any DTCs present?	No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
