Test 9: Memory Interface Between Electronic Seat Adjustment Control Module & Mirror/Steering Column Control Module

NOTE: Ensure power seat memory function is operating properly before proceeding with this test.
NOTE: When checking voltage in this test, ensure voltmeter is set to measure AC voltage.

Disconnect mirror/steering column control module harness connector No. 2. See Figure . Measure AC voltage between ground and terminal No. 12 at mirror/steering column control module harness connector No. 2. Press any memory button. If greater than 5 volts AC exists, interface circuit is okay at this time. If 5 volts AC or less exists, check wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . If wiring is okay, replace electronic seat adjustment control module.
