Function prerequisites

The interior motion sensor (IMS) can be switched off only

before activating the anti-theft alarm (ATA) and with
circuit 15 OFF.

Function

To switch off the IMS, press the ATA interior motion sensor/anti-towing sensor/status indicator switch (S85/2) on the center console. After releasing the switch, successful switch off of the IMS is indicated by the function LED in the switch flashing for two seconds.

When the ATA is then activated , the IMS remains off.

Switching of the IMS is effective only for one ATA activation. The IMS must be switched off again, if desired, before activating the ATA the next time.
Further actuation of the switch for switching off the anti-towing sensor (TS) is effective only after acknowledgment.
