Function prerequisites

An alarm can be triggered by the interior motion sensor (IMS) when:

Function

The interior motion sensor (IMS) monitors the inside of the windows with infrared (IR) light with the aid of the interior motion sensor transmitter and receiver units  .

The interior motion sensor transmitter and receiver unit signals a breaking attempt to the pneumatic system equipment (PSE) control module (combined) (A37) via a data bus.

The PSE control module (A37) then triggers an optical  and acoustic alarm  .

On the T-models, the rear side windows and rear window are also monitored by glass breakage sensors  .

IMPORTANT

A maximum of three alarms in sequence can be triggered by the IMS feature.
