Using Scan Tool

Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). Operate specified switches and observe scan tool operation. See INPUT SIGNAL INDEX  table. If input signal is sent to DLC, tone alarm of scan tool will sound. If any circuit fails to function properly, repair by symptom. See SYMPTOM INDEX  table under SYMPTOM TESTS.
