ECM (TRIONIC T7): Installation

  1. Install the control module and one screw. See Fig 1 .
  2. Plug in the connector.
  3. Make sure the engine can be started.
  4. Replace the carpet.
  5. Install the glove box.
  6. Reset the immobilizer in the following way:
    • Connect Tech2 And Turn The Ignition To ON
    • Select Body And TWICE
    • Select Immobilizing (the Immobilizer Will Be Programmed After About 10 Seconds)

  1. Position the control module from above. See Fig 1 .
  2. Install the 2 control module retaining nuts.
  3. Spray the control module multi-connector with Kontakt 61 contact cleaner and plug in the connector.
  4. Install the protective cover on the control module.
  5. Install the windscreen cover. Be careful with the hood release wire on the left side. See Fig 2 .
  6. Install the rubber seal.
  7. Fasten the screw clips on the ends of the windscreen cover.
  8. Install the rubber wiper spindle seals.
  9. Install the nuts on the wiper spindles with the blanking-off washers on the nuts.
  10. Reset immobilization as follows:
    • Connect Tech2 And Turn The Ignition To ON
    • Select Body And TWICE
    • Select Immobilization (after 10 Seconds The Immobilizer Is Programmed)
