Secondary Fuel Pump Module: Installation

  1. If installing a new fuel pump, install fuel level sending unit onto new fuel pump. Insert new secondary fuel pump module with level sender and new fuel pump-to-tank seal. Ensure orientation tabs are aligned.
  2. Using Fuel Tank Lock Ring Remover/Installer (SA9156E), install fuel pump lock ring. See Figure . Connect fuel lines to fuel tank. Ensure new fuel line quick-connect retainers are used on fuel lines. Connect wiring harness to primary fuel pump module. Install fuel tank. See FUEL TANK  .
