RGB Screen Is Rolling

  1. CHECK RGB SYNCHRONIZING CIRCUIT 
    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
    2. Disconnect NAVI control unit connector and display unit connector.
    3. Check continuity between NAVI control unit harness connector (A) M58 and display unit harness connector (B) M35.
      CONTINUITY SPECIFICATIONS

      Terminals Continuity
      NAVI control unit Display unit
      Connector Terminal Connector Terminal
      M58 48 M35 7 Yes
    4. Check continuity between NAVI control unit harness connector (A) M58 and ground.
      CONTINUITY SPECIFICATIONS

      Terminals Continuity
      NAVI control unit Ground
      Connector Terminal
      M58 48 No

    OK or NG 

    OK: GO TO 2.

    NG: Repair harness or connector.

  2. CHECK RGB SYNCHRONIZING SIGNAL 
    1. Connect NAVI control unit connector and display unit connector.
    2. Turn ignition switch ON.
    3. Press the "MAP" switch.
    4. Check the signal between NAVI control unit harness connector M58 terminal 48 and 49 with CONSULT- or oscilloscope.

      48 - Ground: Refer to  "TERMINALS AND REFERENCE VALUE FOR NAVI CONTROL UNIT ".

    OK or NG 

    OK: Replace display unit.

    NG: Replace NAVI control unit.
